Stair measuring (3D Flexijet Laser Technology)

At WoodenStairs all staircases are bespoke, made to order and to measure (to site dimensions). Just before production, to ensure your new staircase fits well within your stairwell, we provide a 3D Laser Survey to capture the stairwell dimensions, angles and heights with a high precision 3D Laser scan. The 3D laser data is programmed into our stair designing software and our stair design adjusted appropriately to fit. This data is then programmed into our production machinery so that all components are made exactly to measure, therefore exactly to site dimensions.  

We use a state of art measuring equipment from an innovative German company specializing in integrated laser measuring systems called Flexijet. With the Flexijet 3D laser measuring system we can: 

• Ensure each individual stairwell, opening, height, landing gallery and angles are measured precisely for best possible stair fit
• Minimise disruption to customers by taking measurements swiftly 
• Omit the need for having access equipment such as scaffolding, ladders, etc. 
• Measure all shapes of rooms & spaces including arches and curves
• Easily measure the height and shape of every step for concrete stair base and renovation
• Measure accurately with existing stairs still in place
• Map the stair area precisely including doors, windows or intricate shapes and features
